Mission Statement
The mission of the Haywood Community College Adult Basic Skills program is to provide adult education programs that are based on community needs and interest with an emphasis on basic skills improvement, high school completion, cultural enrichment, personal growth, job training, and workforce.
Outcomes
- Students complete requirements for earning a GED Diploma or Adult High School Diploma.
- Increased participation in Adult Education, reducing the number of citizens with less than high school diploma.
- Increased number of students enrolling in and complete college-level programs.
