Mission Statement

The mission of the Haywood Community College Marketing and Public Information Office is to enhance the image of the college, promote public awareness of HCC’s resources, and inform prospective students of the many opportunities for success at HCC. This will be accomplished through the creative use of news releases, college publications, advertisements and special projects. It is the responsibility of the Marketing and Public Information Office to act as a liaison with area news media and to report facts accurately and to stress positivity in the news. It is also part of our mission to ensure that HCC publications are well designed, well written, and printed well while keeping costs within budget restraints.

  1. Marketing plan for the College
  2. Campus-wide recruiting efforts increased
  3. Accurate, high quality reports to the community and College publications and ads for recruiting
  4. Enrollment growth
  5. Increased awareness of College programs and services
