Programs of Study
The Business and Entrepreneurship Department at Haywood Community College offers of seven programs of study, with the option of earning an associate degree, a diploma, or a certificate. Each of the associate degree programs in the department may be completed at least 60% online. The Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Business Informatics, and Medical Office Administration programs may be taken 100% online or in the classroom. All of our other programs may be taken 50% online. Our department offers the following programs:

The primary objective in each of our programs of study is to prepare our students to be employed in an exciting career. Every instructor in the department brings practical industry experience to the classroom, which makes the learning relevant, engaging, and progressive. Our technical degrees are highly valued in the current economy. Many of our students, adults of all ages and backgrounds, decide to come to Haywood Community College to change careers, and/or to become more readily employable.
For students, who wish to continue their education at a senior institution, we will help you to become academically prepared to succeed and our advisors will help you in planning your course of study. To ease the transition, we have articulation agreements in place with several four year colleges and universities.
