Financial Aid

Purpose
The Financial Aid Committee reviews financial aid guidelines and procedures; selects scholarship recipients; serves as an appeal committee for financial aid satisfactory academic progress (SAP) issues, evaluates financial aid services annually, reviews satisfaction surveys and data reflecting distribution of funding, and helps develop strategies for improvement.
Schedule
The committee meets annually to review financial aid guidelines and procedures, evaluate services, and review satisfaction surveys; at least once a semester to select scholarship recipients; and to hear appeals as needed.
Membership
The composition of the committee is broad based with faculty representatives from the academic departments and the Foundation.
