SACS Core Team

Purpose
The purpose of the SACS Core Leadership Team is to prepare the College for reaffirmation of accreditation. The Leadership Team will assign the responsibility for Compliance Certification, writing narratives and gathering documentation for SACs requirements and standards and to appropriate faculty and staff. The Leadership Team will identify gaps in areas across the campus and implement strategies for improvement. Selected members of the Leadership Team will attend SACS orientation for reaffirmation in January 2007, and attend the Annual Conference in December 2006, 2007, and 2008. The Leadership Team will provide oversight for the development of the QEP (Quality Enhancement Plan) and selection of the topic for the QEP. The QEP Chair will serve as member of the Leadership Team.
Schedule
Weekly for the next two years.
Membership
The membership will represent each major functional area of the campus: President and administrators over Student Development, Academic and Workforce Development, Administrative Services, Research and Institutional Effectiveness, SACS Liaison, QEP Chair, and selected faculty and staff.
