Safety
- Purpose
- The Safety Committee’s purpose is that of providing, planning and promoting safety and security to the extent possible for the campus community (students, faculty, staff and visitors. Responsibilities shall include:
- Perform periodic inspections of the campus to insure that facilities are safe for students, faculty, staff and the general public.
- To educate employees and students in the area of safety.
- To ensure that procedures are in place for employees to report safety infractions
- To monitor plans for emergency procedures (ie: intruder, fire, bomb threats, hazard communications, etc)
- To serve as an advisory committee to the President concerning campus safety
- Schedule
- The committee will meet quarterly or as needed
- Membership
- The composition of the committee is made up of faculty and staff; the SGA president will represent students.
