Student Retention

Purpose
The Retention Committee will develop a plan that will establish, review and/or implement strategies to improve student completion rates of courses and programs and improve student learning, satisfaction, and successful achievement of educational goals. This committee will explore, identify and implement innovative ideas to maximize the institution’s role in enhancing the quality of the students’ overall college experience.
Schedule
This committee meets each semester to discuss recommendations and outcomes of the plan.
Membership
The committee is comprised of faculty and staff who serve a 3 year term. Each year members are rotated off of the committee and new members are assigned.
