HCC Cosmetic Arts student Jalissa Hollis was the overall winner of HCC’s Regional Competition held recently on campus. To win, Hollis had the highest scores in all categories combined. Following is a list of other top place finishes: Nail Art: first place, Haley Walls; second place, Nikki Snyder; third place, Daffety Ledford; Long Hair Design: first place, Jalissa Hollis, second place, Leslie Waldrup; third place, Natalie Boone; Salon Cut and Color: first, Briana Kaufman; second place, Tia Cooper; third place, Samantha Hawkins; Evening Makeup: first place, Jalissa Hollis; second place, Alicia McCurry; third place, Natalie Boone; Fantasy team: first place, Alyssa Wright, Jamini Custode, and Courtney Evans; second place, Scottie White, Nikki Snyder, and Stacie Glance; third place, Autumn Cunningham, Michelle Williams, and Jessica Messer.
