Admissions Counseling

Please note that the Counseling Office will observe summer hours – Monday – Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM from May 14, 2012 until August 2, 2012.

Counselors are available to assist students through the admissions process. A counselor can explain the process and assist in choosing a major.

Application Process

  1. Complete an application online at www.haywood.edu.
  2. Submit official high school or GED transcript to the Enrollment Management Office located in the 1500 Building.
  3. Complete the placement test, ACCUPLACER, in the 1500 Building. Other assessments or  college courses may substitute. For an appointment, call 828.627.4607.
