College Transfer Counseling

Please note that the Counseling Office will observe summer hours – Monday – Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM from May 14, 2012 until August 2, 2012.

HCC counselors are available to assist students who wish to transfer to a four year university. Counselors are located in the Student Services (1500) Building. Call 828.627.4506 for an appointment.

College Transfer Services

In addition to one-on-one sessions and workshops through the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC), HCC counselors encourage students to visit universities prior to applying. A counselor arranges a college visit to Western Carolina Univeristy and UNC-Asheville each semester. Contact Debbie Rowland at 828.627.4646 for more information.
