Quilts for the Troops
HCC’s Quilting Workshop day class has been very busy preparing over 20 lap quilts to send to US troops in a hospital in Germany. Student Rikki Williams came up with the idea and has been blown away by the support of her classmates who have donated all the fabric to make the quilts. Williams’ daughter April is stationed in Germany.
