Improve Facilities with One-Fourth Cent Sales Tax
Thanks to the citizens of Haywood County for passing the 1/4 cent sales tax! Read how the sales tax will impact our college and our community.
The College has pressing repair and renovation needs of existing facilities and grounds. It also has new construction needs which are reflected in the Campus Master Plan. The HCC Board of Trustees and Haywood County government have worked together to prioritize the needs in order to give the public good information about the projects involved in revitalizing the college campus.
On January 22, 2008, the Haywood County Commissioners unanimously adopted the following ¼ cent sales tax resolution which dedicates the funds to the facility needs of Haywood Community College:
