2008 Region A Nursing Consortium Pinning Ceremony Held

The 2008 Region A Nursing Consortium Pinning Ceremony was held recently in the Norman K. Myers Auditorium at Southwestern Community College. There were a total of 48 nursing graduates pinned. Sixteen of these are Haywood Community College students, sixteen are from Southwestern Community College, and sixteen are from Tri-County Community College.

The speaker for the ceremony was Amy Putnam, RN and HCC Region A faculty member. The class representative speaker was Anthony Camblor from Southwestern Community College.

The Region A Nursing Consortium Class of 2008 included the following students from HCC: Christina C. Crosby, Emily Evans, Heather A. Johanson, April S. Kelly, Kristy Kirkpatrick, Amanda Mackey, Brooke Owen, Debra L. Pickenpaugh, Caroline Quinn, Tiffany Reece, Brooke Rhea, Maria (Libby) Robinson, Mary (Ethel) Robinson, James R. Thomas, Velma Wood, and Michael A. Youngwood.
