Haywood Community College’s Workforce Continuing Education Department will offer a number of classes in the Creative Arts Building in the coming weeks. This is a great opportunity to start a class to learn something new. From fiber spinning to ribbed baskets, there’s something for everyone. Listed below are some of the choices available in this beautiful and inspiring facility:
Beginning Fiber Spinning begins March 12 from 6 until 9 p.m.
Dyeing for Spinners and Knitters begins March 15 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Spinning Tech begins March 20 from 6 until 9 p.m.
Go Big Ribbed Baskets begins March 22 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Metal Bead Workshop begins March 22 from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Egg-stravagant Ornamentation begins March 25 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
On the Table (clay) begins March 26 from 2 until 5 p.m.
Egg-stravagant Ornamentation begins March 29 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Basics of Knitting begins March 31 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
