Haywood Community College’s Continuing Education Department will offer a number of classes in the Creative Arts Building in the coming weeks. This is a great opportunity to start a class to learn something new. From learning several programs on a Mac computer to an old favorite like stained glass, there’s something for everyone. Listed below are some of the choices available in this beautiful and inspiring facility:
Hand Building with Clay begins January 29 from 2-5 p.m.
Photoshop for the Mac begins February 4 from 2-5 p.m.
Illustrator for the Mac begins February 4 from 6-9 p.m.
Rustic & Reclaimed Woodworking Basics begins February 6 from 6-9 p.m.
Metal Beads Workshop begins February 8 from 10 a.m-3:30 p.m.
Beginning Fiber Spinning Workshop begins February 8 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Bold & Twisted: Using Color & Texture in Knitting begins February 17 from 2-5 p.m.
Spinning Art Yarn begins February 17 from 6-9 p.m.
Computer Design Intro for Mac Workshop begins February 21
Batik Dying on Cloth Workshop begins February 22
Tulip Stained Glass Window Workshop begins February 22
