HCC Offers Workshop on Business Succession Planning

The Small Business Center at Haywood Community College will offer a free seminar on “Succession Planning: Letting Go of your Business in a Financially Smart Way” on Thursday, November 6, 6-8 pm at Regional High Technology Center in the Waynesville Industrial Park. Information will be provided on business transitions and the impact of not planning. You will be able to discuss the alternatives for transitions and the process of setting up transition. You will also explore investment strategies and estate and tax planning. Stephen McNeil of Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and Larry East of Wachovia Securities will be the presenters.
