HCC STUDENT RICK HALL AWARDED DATATEL, INC. SCHOLARSHIP

Rick Hall, Haywood Community College Information System Technology student, was recently awarded a scholarship from Datatel, Inc. Datatel is a leading provider of information management solutions for higher education. The company has awarded almost $3 million in scholarships and grants since its establishment in 1990. For the 2003-2004 academic year, Datatel has awarded over 340 scholarships.

Hall will travel to Washington, DC March 14 through 16 to meet other Datatel scholarship recipients. The scholarship is $500 for each semester and awarded to students that have been out of school for five years or longer. Hall plans to graduate in May.
