HCC to Establish Alumni Association

HCC has over 40 years worth of graduates living all over the U.S. and abroad. There are many stories and successes to share. In an effort to re-establish contact with these alumni, Haywood Community College is actively pursuing the establishment of an HCC Alumni Association. To this end a steering committee comprised of HCC alumni volunteers were appointed to research the protocol for establishing the association and to discuss ideas for involving more alumni through special events and reunions. The HCC Alumni Steering Committee recently held its second meeting. Steering committee members and alumni pictured left to right are Julie Newland, Brenda Fannon, Jonathan Yates, Barbara Baity, Pam Justice, Cheryl Farrell, and Marjorie Warren.
