HCC’S PTK HOLDS INDUCTION
Haywood Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society inducted twenty-five new members recently into the Alpha Lambda Mu Chapter. The purpose of PTK is to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, PTK provides opportunities in an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence. Members of PTK participate in Hallmarks (projects) throughout the year. The four Hallmarks are Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Fellowship. Members newly inducted into the honor society are as follows:
