Sustainability Expo a Success
Over 200 people attended the Sustainability Expo held recently on the HCC campus. This included students, faculty, staff, and members of the community. Representatives from local businesses and organizations displayed information at the expo.
Students enjoyed touring the North Carolina Community College System BioNetwork Mobile Laboratory. Blair Bishop’s class learns about the setup from Scott Hallem on the mobile lab.
Bishop’s class learned about hybrid vehicles from Bill Eaker with the Clean Vehicles Coalition with the Land of Sky Regional Council. HCC’s new hybrid Camry and Electric Gem vehicle was also on display during the expo.
