Student Government Association Report August 2011

Student Government Association Presidents Report

~ July 2011~

What a hot month this has been! On July 6th the Student Government hosted an Ice Cream Social in the Sunrise Café.  Over 200 ice cream treats were distributed to faculty/staff and students. The S.G.A. tried to excite the students that were on campus with some new advertising/communication techniques and overall were very pleased with the results.  Many students brought their lunches to the café and socialized over the provided desserts. The S.G.A. was able to stock the Teaching and Learning Center freezer with approximately 10 ice cream bars to offer students and tutors during summer hours.

During the week of Folk Moot, S.G.A. Advisor Angie Uhl-Kalev was able to act as an ambassador and campus host for the Folk Moot Picnic held July 28th on campus.
