HCC Criminal Justice Club Donates to Social Services Foster Children’s Program
Haywood Community College’s Criminal Justice Club recently donated $400 to the Department of Social Services Foster Children's Program The money donated was collected from fund raising events the club held throughout the year. The Criminal Justice Club is very active in fundraising and contributing to non-profits in the community to benefit the less fortunate.
According to the Haywood County Department of Social Services, Family and Children Services website, the division focuses on protecting and enhancing the welfare of the children in the county by promoting their physical safety and emotional, educational and social well-being.
