Policy 3.12: Emergency Situations

In the event of an emergency on the campus of Haywood Community College, the execution of pre-determined plans and procedures for orderly and expeditious campus evacuation and rapid communications can materially assist in the protection of property and, most importantly, the saving of lives.

The President shall establish administrative procedures and plans of action to enable the faculty, staff, and students to respond appropriately during emergency situations. These procedures shall then become a component of the Emergency Response Plan.
