Policy 4.7: Self Supporting Class
Effective Date: Sun, Nov 27, 0001
Amended Date: Tue, Jul 11, 2006
The Haywood Community College Board of Trustees recognizes that some courses requested by the community or which serve a special need are not supported by state revenues. When these circumstances exist, it may be necessary to offer certain classes on a self-supporting basis. Therefore, the Board of Trustees directs the administration to maintain appropriate administrative procedures and guidelines for self-supporting classes that meet the standards of the State Board of Community Colleges and the mission of Haywood Community College.
This policy shall apply to courses offered for credit through curriculum or for non credit through Continuing Education.
