Haywood Community College is an affirmative action, equal employment opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, political affiliation or national/ethnic origin.

Haywood Community College employees are approved for employment by the President (see Employment Procedures) and are ratified by the Haywood Community College Board of Trustees.   Full-time employees are employed and contracted for a specific length of time. Part-time employees are employed for a specific period of time within a fiscal year on a part-time temporary basis.
