Policy 6.15.5: Funeral Leave
An employee may use a maximum of three days sick leave when there is a death in the immediate family. Leave exceeding this must be charged to annual leave or leave without pay. Immediate family is defined as wife, husband, children, step children, mother, father, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandmother, grandfather, grandson, granddaughter, step-mother, and step-father.
