Policy 6.19: Other Employee Benefits

Other benefits shall be offered to full-time and part-time with benefits faculty and staff as appropriate and as approved by Haywood Community College Board of Trustees.

Examples of other benefits are:

  • Dental Insurance
  • Vision Insurance
  • Cancer Insurance
  • Short Term Disability Insurance
  • Medical Bridge
  • Term Life
  • Supplemental retirement plans such as: 401(k), 403(b) and/or 457 plans

Part-time employees with contracts less than 30 hours per week are offered no benefits.
