Recognizing the importance of faculty and staff advancing personal and professional knowledge, competence, skills, and behaviors; Haywood Community College provides fiscal, human, and time resources within the parameters of available institutional funds and value added to the College community. As such, full-time employees are encouraged and expected to identify and participate in professional development that supports the effectiveness and efficiency of College goals and services. This should be done in coordination with the employee’s direct supervisor and in support of their professional development plan.
