Policy 6.29: Tuition Exemption

Full-time employees may take one Haywood Community College curriculum or extension course per semester, tuition-free, subject to admission requirements. Employees who are required to maintain certifications such as CPR and/or First Aid certification may take a HCC certification course at no cost in addition to another course. Self-supporting classes do not fall into the category of fee exemptions.
