Policy 6.32: Working Hours
Full-time teaching faculty (those teaching a full load) are expected to work a minimum of 40 hours each week and are expected to be scheduled on campus at least 30 hours a week with a minimum of 5 office hours per week and a minimum of 4 hours per day on campus.
Full-time staff and full-time faculty teaching less than a full load are scheduled to work a 40 hour week. Certain employees (non-exempt) are required to keep a time sheet on a daily basis. By necessity of the job, schedules of certain employees must be flexible, but all non-exempt personnel should be scheduled so as to work no more than 40 hours a week. The President of the College, upon recommendation of the appropriate Vice Presidents, will establish the working hours of all faculty and staff.
