Procedure 3.12.1: In Case of an Act of Providence
Definition
An Act of Providence is any condition or situation that is not man‑made, caused, or controlled.
In the event of any Act of Providence that causes disruption of the routine or scheduled activities of this institution, announcements will be made by the President or designated representative, as to the course of action to be followed. If such acts cause cancellation of school activities, announcements will be made by the following radio and television stations.

In case of tornados, all persons will go to the nearest innermost hallway of permanent buildings, staying clear of windows. In case of flooding of building, all persons will evacuate the flooded area, seeking high ground.
