Procedure 6.14.2: Notification of College Closure for Inclement Weather and Documentation of Make-up

In the event that the college is closed for inclement weather students, faculty, and staff will be notified of closure through the college website, local television, and local radio (See current form below).

Coursework for missed classes will be made-up in one of the following ways and documentation will be kept on file in the Vice-president of Academic and Workforce Development’s office.

Missed courses will be made-up by:

  1. Rescheduling the course at a time convenient to the faculty and students
  2. Documenting make-up through the use of an alternate assignment (See current form below)
  3. Extending the semester by the time missed

Up one level
