CCSSE Frequencies

In fulfillment of its mission, Haywood Community College strives for “Learners {to} engage in experiential activities that join the worlds of work and learning and develop problem solving, leadership, critical thinking, and enterprise abilities.” Established in 2001 as a project of the Community College Leadership Program at the University of Texas at Austin, the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) measures five categories of student engagement: academic challenge, active and collaborative learning, student-faculty interaction, student effort and support for learners. Haywood Community College conducted the CCSSE survey in the Spring 2009 semester.
