HCC Tuition and Fees, Fall 2009
For students enrolled in curriculum/credit programs of study
Tuition and fees are subject to change based on state legislators and local board action. The following tuition and fees rates are current as of July 15, 2009 for fall 2009 semester:
Tuition
Approved by State Legislators, July 2009.
In-state rates:
- $50.00 per credit hour per semester
- $800.00 for full-time students (16 credit hours or more) per semester
Out-of-state rates:
- $241.30 per credit hour per semester
- $3,860.80 for full-time students (16 credit hours or more) per semester
Fees
Approved by HCC Board of Trustees Nov 2007, based on NC Community College System approved Rates
Student Activity Fee - Fall and Spring
- $30.00 - 12 or more credit hours
- $22.00 - 6-11 credit hours
- $15.00 - 1-5 credit hours
Student Activity Fee - Summer
- $5.00 - 12 or more credit hours
- $4.00 - 6-11 credit hours
- $3.00 - 1-5 credit hours
Technology Fee
- $16.00 - 12 or more credit hours
- $11.00 - 6-11 credit hours
- $6.00 - 1-5 credit hours
Parking/Distance Learning Fee
- $3.00 (all students)
Student Insurance
- $1.25 (all students)
Beginning Spring Semester, January 1, 2009, student activity and parking/distance learning fees will be waived for curriculum/credit students who are Senior Citizens.
