This art class encourages and guides you to create a visual art piece depicting a meaningful event from your life experience or a fictional story from your imagination. The task posed to you is to think about what would make a dynamic book cover. You will learn how to jump start your imagination, nurture an idea, gather reference material and organize ideas and concepts. Composition, color, freehand sketching and use of models and photography will be covered. The student will have the choice of medium they will use to create their final art piece including drawing, painting or sculpture. What is your Story? Beginner to seasoned artist. Student must provide their own art materials. Instructor: Jim Stilwell
