Diesel Program

Diesel Mechanic Program classes start July 26

Haywood Community College is now registering students for our Diesel Mechanic Program.

This program teaches students how to measure and diagnose problems and repair diesel engines. This classroom and hands-on experience includes training from skilled instructors and working on the latest diagnostic equipment to help students learn the most up to date techniques.

Upon completion, students will be able to measure and diagnose problems, and repair diesel engines. While in class, students will have access to the latest diagnostic equipment and a dynamometer to test engine performance. Once complete, students will have the knowledge to take the ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) diesel engine certification. Some restrictions apply from ASE.

This course will prepare you for future careers and to take the Automotive Service Excellence diesel engine certification.
