Attendees must attend all three sessions to receive their certification. Classes are open to anyone 12 years of age or older. Classes will meet on the HCC campus from 6-9 p.m. in Rooms 309 and 310. Please note that although this is a hunter safety course, no firearms are allowed on the HCC campus at any time.
Anyone wanting to obtain a first time hunting license is required by the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission to take this training.
The Hunter Safety courses are offered as a community service and are free of charge. Pre-registration is required. To register, please contact Jenny Carver, HCC Natural Resources Division, at (828) 627-4560 or 627-4561.
