"STARS OF BEATLEMANIA" IN CONCERT AT HCC
Each fall the Haywood Community College Foundation hosts a special event to benefit HCC. Proceeds from the event are used to support the college through mini grants, scholarships and special acquisitions. This year the Foundation is hosting a benefit concert—"Stars of Beatlemania." A 4-man band comprised of "stars from the Broadway hit show, Beatlemania, will present a tribute show featuring more than 30 Beatles songs performed live featuring authentic instruments and costumes. The concert will be on Friday, October 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the HCC Auditorium. The concert is an HCC Foundation OakFEST event.
Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the HCC Book Store on campus, the Music Box in Waynesville, or by phone at 828-627-4544. Tickets may also be purchased from HCC Foundation Directors.
"Stars of Beatlemania" features Alan LeBoeuf as Paul McCartney. LeBoeuf performed the role of McCartney in Broadway’s production of Beatlemania and toured with Las Vegas’ Legends in Concert. LeBoeuf is a singer and songwriter that helped form the band "Baillie and the Boys." He has written songs for Sawyer Brown and has sung backup for many artists such as Randy Travis, Dan Seals, Moe Bandy, Marie Osmond, and many others. LeBoeuf also spent four years performing with "The British Invasion" at Walt Disney World.

The Haywood Community College Foundation is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization through which tax deductible gifts may be made to benefit Haywood Community College. Contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible as provided by state and federal laws. The HCC Foundation exists to aid, strengthen, and further the work and service of Haywood Community College. It assists HCC to secure necessary and timely financial support unavailable through its traditional public funding sources. In order to fulfill its mission , the HCC Foundation engages in friend-raising and fund-raising activities to secure contributions from individual and organizations.
