Photo Cutline: Face painting and Haunted Trail at HCC
Three year old, Morgan Conard became a pumpkin last night with a little help from Haywood Community College cosmetology student, Wendy Barnes. Face painting is one of the attractions at Haywood Community College’s Haunted Trail which started last night and will continue though tonight, Friday, October 31.
Students of the Cosmetology program will be on hand to paint faces today from 4:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. The cost for children is $2.50 while charges for adults vary from $3 to $5 depending on the difficulty of the application.
The Haunted Trail will be held from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. Tickets are $4 for adults and $2.00 for children under twelve. The trail is not recommended for small children and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Even if a child is too young for the haunted trail, the cosmetology students can add an extra touch to his or her costume with the addition of some face paint.
The HCC Outdoor Club and cosmetology students are hosting the event. Tickets may be purchased before entering the event at the entrance to the HCC Auditorium in the lower level of the Student Services Building.
