HCC’S DR. MICHAEL GERMANO PRESENTED PAPER AT NEAR EAST ARCHAEOLOGY SOCIETY ANNUAL MEETING
Haywood Community College’s Vice President of Academic Services, Dr. Michael P. Germano, recently presented a paper at the Near East Archaeology Society Annual Meeting held in Atlanta, Georgia. The paper titled, The Ancient Church of the Apostles: Revisiting Jerusalem’s Cenacle and David’s Tomb was presented during the meeting’s general session.
Germano has held responsibilities in excavations at the south Temple Mount, the Umm el-Jimal Project, the Mozan Expedition, and the Hazor Excavations. Germano is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds doctorates from the University of Southern California and the University of La Verne. Based on his research, he has a forthcoming book entitled The Ancient Church of the Apostles.
