CAROLINA GARDENER MAGAZINE BRINGS GARDEN WORKSHOPS OF THE SOUTHEAST TO AREA
The Carolina Gardener Magazine’s Garden Workshops of the Southeast is coming to the area on Saturday, September 25. The NC Mountain Magic Tour will feature the Haywood Community College Campus Arboretum designed by Doan Ogden including the Freedlander Dahlia Garden in peak bloom, and the gardens of Richmond Hill Inn. Registration is $95 per person and space is limited. Registered participants will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the HCC Arboretum. The event will end around 4 p.m.
The Garden Workshops of the Southeast feature guided tours, renowned expert speakers, catered lunch, and special plant and book sales. The workshops provide the perfect opportunity for learning and growing in the Southeast. This series of one-day events was created to provide a wonderful opportunity for gardeners to celebrate the bounty of gardening in our region. It is tailored for gardeners and plant-lovers of all levels, backgrounds, and ages.
Guest speakers for the event are Barbara Pleasant, award-winning garden writer, and Hunter Stubbs, who has been at Richmond Hill Inn for eight years.
