The Haywood Community College Woodsmen's Team will compete in the Tenth Annual Intercollegiate Woodsmen's Meet at Forest Festival Day. The meet will be held on Saturday, October 1 at The Cradle of Forestry in America in the Pisgah National Forest near Brevard, North Carolina. Events begin with a welcome at 7:45 a.m. and end with a BBQ dinner awards ceremony at 6:45 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Participating colleges include HCC, Dabney S. Lancaster Community College of Clifton Forge, Virginia, Montgomery Community College of Troy, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania State University of Mont Alto, Pennsylvania.
