HAUNTED TRAIL AND HOUSE OF HORRORS SCHEDULED AT HCC

Haywood Community College will hold a Haunted Trail on Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Tickets are $4. Children 6 and under are free of charge. The HCC Outdoor Club is sponsoring the event. Anyone daring enough to face the chills and thrills may purchase their tickets immediately before entering the event at Room 349. Designated parking will be located behind the 300 building. Hayrides will be provided to and from the trail entrance. The trail is not recommended for small children or individuals with health problems.

New this year is the House of Horrors where participants can learn the truth and consequences about alcohol, drugs, and tobacco. The House of Horrors is recommended for fifth graders and up. If accompanied by a parent or caregiver, participants will be eligible for door prizes. The House of Horrors is sponsored by the Haywood County Health Department, Haywood County Schools, Haywood County Sheriff's Department, Healthy Haywood, Lighthouse Recovery Center, Mothers Against Drunk Driving of Haywood (MADD), Mountain Area Resource Center, Smoky Mountain Mental Health, and the Waynesville Police Department. For a howling good time but not for the weak at heart! See you there if you dare!
