DANISH ARTIST NINA HOLE TO VISIT HCC
Danish ceramic artist Nina Hole will conduct a site visit at Haywood Community College on Wednesday, November 16 at 2 p.m. in the Beall Auditorium. The public is invited to attend.
Hole creates "Fire Sculptures," large 15-20 foot clay architectural sculptures wrapped to be fired with wood and unveiled at the height of the firing. During her visit to HCC, Hole will be presenting slide lectures, demonstrations, and critiques.
The visit is the second international residency sponsored by the Center for Craft, Creativity, and Design, a regional center of the University of North Carolina.
