HCC to Offer GED Express March 29
Haywood Community College’s GED Express eligibility test will be held on Thursday, March 29 from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. Those with adequate scores will continue preparation for the test on Saturday, March 31 from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
GED Express allows busy individuals the chance to fit classes into their schedule in just an evening and a Saturday. After completing the two express classes, students are then ready to take the official GED tests. A total of nine hours is required for preparation and practice testing through GED Express. The official GED tests require eight hours to complete.
A GED, or General Education Development, is a high school diploma equivalency credential. It is a nationally accepted standard of high school completion that measures knowledge in writing skills, social studies, science, mathematics, and literature and the arts.
GED Express interested participants should call 627-4643 or email email@example.com for more information or to pre-register.
