Summer Registration in Progress

Faculty and staff members at Haywood Community College are making final preparations for the start of summer semester 2007. Prospective students are encouraged to complete the application process as soon as possible. Student Services hours are 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Fridays.

Early registration for summer semester is currently underway and continues through Friday, April 20. The early registration payment period continues through May 15. Students who participate in early registration and do not pay their fees by 7p.m. on May 15 will be purged requiring them to register again.

Regular registration for summer semester 2007 is Wednesday, May 16 from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Classes begin on Thursday, May 17 and the drop-add period is also on May 17.

Cosmetology evening classes will be offered this summer semester. This flexible alternative offers smaller class size and low student to teacher ratios for individualized attention.

Summer is the perfect time to get outside and explore the world around you. HCC’s aquatic ecology class is the perfect place to get up close and personal with a wide variety of aquatic life forms and habitats right here in Haywood County.
