Haywood Community College faculty and staff recently presented United Way of Haywood County with a check totaling $3,287 through the college’s annual campaign. The organization is working to advance the common good by focusing on education, income, and health. United Way provides resources to a multitude of services including basic needs and emergency services, family services and crisis intervention, child and youth services, independence in older adults, and special services throughout the county.
