Haywood Community College and Western Carolina University recently signed an articulation agreement in the area of accounting. This agreement is to provide a seamless transfer between the Associates of Applied Science program in Accounting at HCC to the Bachelors in Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting at WCU.
Students can complete the first two years of their accounting education in the A.A.S. program at HCC and complete the last two years of their accounting education at WCU.
“Students can spend their first two years studying at HCC with lower tuition costs and less transportation costs. Those are important factors for our students,” says David Forester, Departmental Chair of Business & Entrepreneurship at HCC. “We’re very pleased to be partnering with WCU to provide our accounting students greater educational opportunities for their future.”
