The Small Business Center at Haywood Community College will offer a free seminar titled “Basics of Bookkeeping” on Tuesday, May 26, from 9 am-12 pm on campus in Building 200, Room 201.

Participants will get answers to basic bookkeeping questions. New and prospective business owners will learn about accrual and cash basis accounting, what are expenses and revenues, manual and software bookkeeping options, outsourcing, and what your business actually needs when it comes to bookkeeping.

Presenter is Tonya Snider. Snider has experience in management, marketing, lending, human resources, consulting, classroom facilitation, and economic development. Her company, tenBiz helps businesses realize their full potential through a layered approach of training, consulting, and coaching.
