Do you have an idea for a business, but are unsure what to do next. The Haywood Community College’s Small Business Center’s free seminar, “So, You have an Idea! Now What?” will change the way you think about traditional business idea development. Seminar is scheduled for February 2, 3 until 5 pm in the Haywood Community College 200 Building, room 204.
Attendees will receive an introduction to the Business Model Canvas, a unique method of describing and thinking through the business model of your organization, your competitors, or any other enterprise. Attendees will also walk through the introductory ideation phase, the One Page Business Plan, and the Opportunity Discovery Process creating a blueprint for successful innovation and idea development.
Speaker is Katy Gould. She is HCC’s Small Business Center Director and was recently recognized as the 2015 NC Small Business Center Network’s Rookie of the Year. This award is designed to recognize new directors that have been in the position for two years or less for outstanding performance on the job and for significant growth in their center.
